I was born and raised in Newport, Rhode Island. I attended the University Of Rhode Island where I received a bachelor’s degree in Theatre and a minor in Spanish.

 

After college, I moved to Santa Maria, CA, where I received an acting internship at the Pacific Conservatory of the Performing Arts, but also found a local LGBT group where I discovered my passion for non-profit.

 

In 2002, I moved to Los Angeles to work at the L.A Gay and Lesbian Center’s Jeff Griffith Youth Center, working with homeless youth and educating them about HIV Prevention.

 

Today I work as a Property Manager for West Hollywood Community Housing Corporation whose mission is to provide decent and affordable housing for people with limited income, including those with special needs.
